Metal Taste/Dry Mouth
« on: March 26, 2016, 06:21:04 am »
Slightly over 5 months and have re-occuring metal taste in mouth and dry mouth in general. I use Biotene and sugar free cough drops at night, but it seems relentless with all the other issues. The metal is most of time, I stay hydrauted by drinking plenty of water and G2, any other suggestions out there? Stay well!

I've noticed my metallic taste has significantly reduced (almost to the point where it's completely UN-noticeable) when i gave up starches for lent. I'm on a low carbohydrate diet now (no starches, only vegetables and 1-2 fruits a day) and i only notice the metallic taste only if i really try to focus and taste it out. I'll probably carb up sometime in April and i'm hoping things will remain the same.

Appreciate, I have a host of issues since my translab surgery 10/27/15 and this metal taste is one I would like to get rid of. Thanks again. Recover is no fun. Thanks again.[/size]
