I think fully endoscopic craniectomy is the way of the future. For a start, the hold that is drilled in the skull is much smaller at about 20 mm. The outcomes are also better, according to the reported literature.

Also a newbie here. 62 y/o male..... I notice that you went to the same ENT clinic in Huntsville AL as I did last month. Dr. Neeta Dang is the one I was referred to see by my PP.   

I was diagnosed just a week ago. At this moment, I am still at the "shocking" stage and trying to make some sense out of the whole situation. I don't know the exact size of my tumor (was told small) and is going to get my MRI scan and medical record tomorrow.

If you don't mind, can I PM you? Perhaps, we can get together or talk through phone to exchange our thoughts on the treatment options and possible approaches. I live in Madison.

I'll blame mine on the paper mill....they cause so much else here. HA
Diagnosed 10/13/14 with 1.4cm AN L side
1st Consult with Vanderbilt 11//14
W/W.  Next MRI in April 2015 at Vanderbilt.
April 2015 MRI no growth -
April 2016 MRI no growth - still 1.46cm.
4/17: No growth!
4/18: No growth! MRI 2 yrs
4/20: No growth! Symptoms stable- MRI 2 yrs
