3rd time the charm????
« on: April 06, 2017, 11:23:32 am »
1st surgery via translab was April 7/2009....Booger grew and had cyberknife June 6,2016.  Even though he is dead from the inside out, he has either grown or is swollen compressing into my brainstem.  2nd invasive surgery is schedule for this coming Tues, April 11,2017 exactly 8 years and 4 days from first one.  I'm hoping this is it.  Can not remove entirely as its tightly wrapped around my facial nerve.  I hope this is it.   Not mentally prepared for this surgery as I was for the first one.   Was on heavy dose of steroids in Jan/Feb and it helped a lot.  I felt great.  but one week after coming off of them, problems started.  Now, no choice but another round of surgery.
Thanks for letting me vent

All the best for you!! First, second surgery went fine then so would your third and hopefully, last. I live in fear everyday that it might grow back so I can imagine how you would feel. Stay strong!
