There is not daily improvement post op and there can be many good days and a couple bad days.      Your going gung ho so fast post op could even slow you down now some later as brain only recovers so fast and now it needs to rest some.   Being active so fast to prove that you will be "normal"  again is easy to want to do.     Hang in there and it will get better.

Right mid fossa 11-01-01
  left tumor found 5-03,so have NF2
  trans lab for right facial nerve tumor
  with nerve graft 3-23-06
   CSF leak revision surgery 4-07-06
   left mid fossa 4-17-08
   near deaf on left before surgery
   with hearing much improved .

Thanks for the info.  Sounds like I should request steroids up front.  If it reduces swelling that might also help with reducing risk of CFL.  Right?  Reduced swelling cuts down on pressure and things heal quicker.  Makes sense to me.  Let's see if the surgeons laugh at me.
