Facial spasms
« on: March 04, 2019, 11:18:02 am »
Any of you in W&W get facial spasms on a regular basis? In my case, they occur on the AN side in the orbital area of the eye and the bridge of the nose, above where your glasses would sit. Sometimes they extend into the forehead. They last a couple of seconds. Last week I had to get a growth cut off the eyelid on the AN side, and have been having about 5-10 strong spasms a day ever since. Mentioned it to the neurosurgeon and he said that of course, due to the tumor, I will be prone to muscle spams on that side. I am going to see a radio oncologist next week because I am thinking these facial spasms mean it is time to get treatment.

Yes, but I get them on both sides of my face, oddly enough.  Did the MRI explain your spasms?
3mm diagnosed December 2010 when I was 45. Very unusual presentation - severe vertigo, then dizziness daily, now just occasional dizziness, but it can be debilitating some days. No hearing loss! But yes to ear fullness and wonky brain. Watch and wait.
