AN Awareness at Symposium
« on: November 29, 2006, 11:37:57 am »
I certainly hope that the Philly Symposium will have a program on raising awareness for AN. If not, maybe we patients may be able to start shaking things up a bit. We need to get Mark Ruffalo involved. We need to raise hell with insurance companies who regard MRI's as a last ditch effort. That misdiagnosis thread has got my dander up!!! AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Nancy-go to the ANA website by clicking on their logo at the very top of the screen. The bulletin with all the info should be out soon as well.

I have read quite a few Mark Ruffalo interviews but I think this is the best:

Now, if we just knew how to find him.......

Yep, thats why I liked this interview.....and his Dr. was rather honest with him.

How about this:

The next one to have surgery at House gets to go find him in the Hollywood Hills.  After all, don't you need to hang around there for about 10 days?  Might as well go sightseeing and stalking.  ::)

My nephew works for CNN!  HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Did someone mention Dr. Sanja Gupta in a thread here?  My nephew got me a personalized autograph copy of Anderson Cooper's book and my nephew does PR for CNN in NY.

someone fill me in as to what is needed for AN awareness and Dr. Gupta!
