It’s miserable. Earplugs quickly became a way of life, but other than trying the diuretic to see if it helps at all with the tinnitus, nothing short of surgery could help. Apparently no guarantees with that either, though some have had relief.

I am also taking Zofran for the nausea, some days it helps a bit, other days it does nothing.

There aren’t many surgeons who perform these surgeries, or at least that perform them well. So far it seems like Dr. Carey at Johns Hopkins and Dr. Yang at UCLA are the top picks by most.

Driving has become an issue, so I am running up a small fortune paying for car services, but what can you do.

Another CT scan to check the other ear, and a VEMP test upcoming.

Bottom line, it sucks!

I diagnosed self also by Dr Google almost three years ago. Was told by doctors  for two years - "Its all in your head". Well it was!

MRI 2023 Further reduction 12x12x10mm!! Hearing 85%
MRI 2024: No change AN or hearing
