Looking for speakers
« on: December 10, 2006, 04:10:05 pm »
Hello!

I am a co-coordinator for a chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America in Frederick County, Maryland.  Many in my group have expressed an interest in acoustic neuromas, as many have been tested for them, or know someone who lost their hearing as the result of one.

I have been having difficulty finding a speaker for our group about acoustic neuromas.  Does anyone know how I might contact someone in my area of Frederick County Maryland who would be willing to come and speak to our little chapter.  A physician, therapist, or even ideally a person who has had one would be welcome to come and speak.  They will find a very receptive and supportive audience.

Any help is appreciated!
