My post-op experience
« on: December 11, 2006, 10:01:18 pm »
My name is Steve and I am a 26 year old who just recently had an acoustic neuroma removed.  I had a 1.5 cm tumor, and it has been completely removed and I still have some hearing in the ear on the operated side.  My furstration in finding out information about younger people with acoustic neuroma and their experience has prompted me to create a website of my own experience.  Please take a look, I hope it is helpful to someone.  It is http://www.myacousticneuroma.com/

Thanks.

Steve,

Great job! Thrilled to see that there is something for a younger AN target audience.... and thrilled you took the time and energy to do this.

Well done!

Your site is teriffic.  Your age will bring in the younger AN crowd for sure. I was impressed at
how much info is on there no matter what age the reader is.  I wish I had found a site like yours
when I was diagnosed.

Thanks Steve. I'm 36 and was just diagnosed this week. Your descriptions of your discussions with the doctors were very helpful.
