My turn for an OP ?
« on: March 14, 2007, 02:34:11 pm »
Well, OP no 8 or 9 maybe, lost count somewhere....
I am having the small eyelid lift OP on Mon
(the one to improve dry eye etc etc)
- a small OP by my standards - but you never know
sadley, no mermaids this time
(well not planned.... anyway)
Oh and been at work 5 weeks full time now
Quiet month really...
Best Regards
Tony

Hi there Tony...

Very best wishes for a successful outcome to op 8 or 9? on Monday. My ' wait and watch' routine certainly puts into perspective just what adversities you have had to conquer and how well you have dealt with them. Your words of wisdom, empathy and humour are always valued and inspirational.

Regards

Derek
Residing UK. In 'watch & wait' since diagnosis in March 2002 with right side AN. Initially sized at 2.5cm and now self reduced to 1.3cm.
All symptoms have abated except impaired hearing on affected side which is not a problem for me.

Tony

It'll go great on Monday.  You'll notice the difference.  Now if you're really, really really lucky or a smooth talker you could talk the Doctor into a little tuck here, there and a whole new you!  Chet had the eye tuck done twice and it really was a simple procedure.  I'll be thinking of you.

Hugs

On balance, I suspect I am in a DREAM !

Dont know if you will get this
I will write again when reality kicks in

Hey Tony:  I was wondering...  Did you have the lowere lid pulled tighter also?
I'm asking because I had it done (again) on March 7th & since 3/18
I've been having such awful pain in the outer eye area - it's so bad
it wakes me up at night.  I don't remember this happening the 1st time around.
My MD appt. is 3/29 so I'll ask him about it,  just wondering if you've been having bad pains.
