I've marked my calendar for April 6th.
God, that picture of the apple dumplings looked so delicious I almost licked my computer monitor!

No, no!! Not the 6th. That's Jody's birthday!! I won't be able to attend that day. Could we try to hold back on setting a date with it being so far away right now? Say the next weekend --the 13th?

Hi from the two snowbirds - it's pretty chilly here in S.W. Florida - I know, I know - no one has any sympathy for us when we have to put the heat on!!!  Red Sox will be here soon for spring training - yippee.

Hope y'all stay warm -

Hello to all the NE Brunch Bunch-
Got a call from Bill Appleby (the wonderful manager at Maxwells, love his accent) over the weekend. He wanted to know if the Sunday, April 6th date for the "Blue Room" was adefinite or tentative reservation.  I told him to make it tentative, he said we have first dibs on the room, if someone else calls for it he will give us first refusal. Soooo, what do you all say, is the 6th a go?

Hi Jane and everyone,

I can't really commit yet to the 6th.  We will be going to Florida for a week, but our dates are not set yet.  As soon as we know for sure I will post.  I'm trying to keep the 6th open.  Can't wait to see you all and enjoy our great brunch.  Stay warm.

Hi Sue,
A little chilly out there right now.  Those warm, delicious apple dumplings would certainly help. Would love to hear from our infamous cruise director and her CB?
Take care-

Heck, you only want CB there to compete with Bill's cheeky accent!  ;)

Tentative for us.  CB works every other weekend and hoping he would get that Sunday off..... I will do my best, regardless, to try to be there.

Jane, thanks for taking over the brunch torch..... and tell Bill "cheers" for me! :)

Hi Jane,
April 6th is fine with me, but I can be flexible.  I look forward to seeing everyone and the delicious food.
Take care,

PattyCake & Joey must decline this one. I'm having surgery (McKenna/Barker) on March 14 at Mass General - postponed due to Bronchitis etc.  It will be too soon - I hope we can make the next one.  Thank you all for including us in the Spring; it was so encouraging to meet everyone that day.  I hope that I will have 'happy' stories to tell of my post-op soon.   Keep us in your prayers ....   Happy Valentines Day to all.

After all that talk in Nov, I won't be able to make the 6th.   :(

We're members of the Museum of Science Boston and there's a kids hands-on class running the morning of the 6th that both my boys really, really wanted to do.  We've paid the $$ and everything, so we're committed to doing that.

Every other Sunday is free, so far.  Of course!   ::)

Hi, gang
I am pretty flexible too, and can make any date (unless I win some special trip to an exotic location...!)

Pattycake...do keep in touch on your surgery and recovery!!  I'm wishing you best of luck...as I am STILL pondering what action to take myself.

Prayers (and as Phyl would say "huggles") for you and Joey!
