Best of luck to you. I remember the day well myself. But try not to be too afraid. The headframe is a no-brainer (no pun intended), Iwas terrified of it but the meds really worked 'cause I felt nothing, nothing. However you should know that you will need some ice packs afterwards for the back of the head where the screws were. These two spots swell a bit and they are very sore. So before you lie down have a couple reay for your head. Noone told me this and I laid back on my pillow and just about sprung from my bed, it must have looked a bit funny. you can prop your head in a way so that the ice works and your head feels like it isn't straining to hold the ice. The screws in the front never really bothered me. You may need the ice intermittently for a few days but that's that. I wish you the best and I will be thining of you tomorrow. Holly
