The doctors are finally working together
« on: October 29, 2007, 05:49:44 pm »
Wow!
I got good news today all of my doctors got together to talk about the next step to take concerning my An and my pregnancy. The specialiste and my obstetricians (Am followed by more then one) actually talk to each other, (after 2 months of demanding them to take action and contact).

I'm having a seconde MRI to see the tumor's growth and to see if am having a natural birth or a ceasarian. I have been waiting for the anwser for some time now and i just wanted to share my good new's.

Hi
I feel so much better now knowing that am been listened to. The obtetrician admitted tha I was a rare case in her career and that she did not know much about AN. I told her that i had lot's of informative reading for her if she wanted. She even  made a back up plan with the specialist if in any case's i start feeling worst. She now believe's that the hormones in my body do to the pregnancy has an effect on the tumor.

It's feel's so good!! ;D

Julie, this is great news! I remember your posts from a while back, things didn't sound so good, the doctors didn't even seem to recognize that you had an AN and were pregnant at the same time. This sounds more like it!

I hope things go well. At least you now have doctors that are listening to you, and making plans, and making back up plans, and looking at the whole picture. At this rate, this thing could work out after all.

All the best to you,

Steve
