Headed for CK

Well after a year of worry and loads of research, I'm finally headed to DC for CK.  Will keep you all updated.  Wish me luck!!

Sandra - the worst part is getting to that decision.  My husband took nine months to decide and I kept teasing him that I could have had a baby in that time!!  Of course at 61, I'd hope it was a grandbaby.  Good luck - keep us posted.

9th cranial nerve schwannoma - like an acoustic neuroma on another nerve. Have recently been told it could be acoustic neuroma. Only 7 mm of growth in 18 years. With no symptoms. Continuing W&W

Hey Sandra, good luck with the CK. It will be a breeze. One more AN bites the dust.

8 mm left AN June 2007,  CK at Stanford Sept 2007.
Hearing lasted a while, but left side is deaf now.
Right side is weak too. Life is quiet.

Thinking about you today (you start CK today)--hope all goes well and stress-free. 

I'm doing well (no side effects).  Glad to report that...
