Phyl, I never even thought to read that sentence that way - I got stuck on the pretty darn awful part. Of course not everything inside the head is swollen and irritated - it just feels that way sometimes! I'm sure it is just the swelling of the AN itself, it is such a pesky little rascal. I'm pretty sure my brainstem hit was well below 10 Gy, I think the daily dose was 6 Gy, and they said they were missing the brainstem by at least this "   " much. Actually I have to admit I am feeling a lot better this week, I think it is really just the cold season that's been dragging me down, but now I have something exotic to blame it on.
