You know I heard yesterday that it's out and word is that Phyl has a picture too.

I may be Co Queen of the book discussion, but Phyl is definitely our star  ;D

Mine didn't arrive yet, but I'm hoping it will be in the mailbox today.

oh, geesh! :)....

Jan, no star here... what you see is what you get... ok, granted, you can't see me sitting here at work, behind my computer monitor while Beanie lays on the floor snoring behind my desk.... but, yeah... what you "see" is what you get :)

Okay, it's day #2 since I heard about Phyl's appearance in "Notes" and I'm very anxious to read it, but I'm still waiting on the mailman (sorry, mail person) to bring my copy.  Is the mail in Illinois just slower than in the rest of the country? or is anyone else still waiting for their copy?

Well, it's good to know I'm not alone.  I was beginning to take it personally.

Must just be my stellar mail service, although now that I think about it, my bills always seem to get here pretty quickly  LOL

Kaybo -

it's all for a great cause and, as someone who works in the "money section" of another non-profit organization, I can tell you from experience that the ANA probably could use your money.  Dues revenue for us is a major source of our funding; our association wouldn't exist without it.  Our dues are much higher than the ANA's, but then again I'd imagine our expenses are much higher too  :)

Speaking of dues, does the ANA typically send members a notice when their annual membership is up?  I'll be at that point in a few months and I don't want to forget to mail mine in.  Maybe I should note it on my calendar.

Oh, I know it is for a good cause (& I am certainly using this website), I just think it is sort of ironic...   ;D

Hey Jan, I checked on this and was informed that dues invoices are sent 1 yr from the date that dues were last received.  Hope that helps.

Great testimonial from our beloved Pearly Girly. Shoulda used the photo from out last Belgian Chocolate Tanker  orgy on Mustique, though--remember where we pillaged Ziggy Stardust's closet in search of Enchanted Spandex so's our thunder thighs wouldn't sink the ship?  'Member? I got the photo if anyone wants it.

All kidding aside--thanks for your good ear for the past couple of years and for keeping us wonkyheads on the straight and narrow.  You RAWK!!!!!

Phyl, thanks for checking on my dues renewal question.  I appreciate it.
