It's gone and that's all I need to know.

I second that emotion, David!

My sons tumor (not an AN) was an ice cream cone (waffle) with one scoop of peanut butter chocolate ice cream.  ;) 16
I believe you are given choices in life and it is not what has happened to you that defines who you are.  It is how you handle the situation and finding the positive in an almost hopeless situation that counts the most.  My son is my hero and I have had the pleasure of learning this from him.

Hi, all,

I just HAVE to say how thrilled I am to find this site. The sense of humor is alive and well here. I LOVE it!!!! Boy, it helps me. Facing all the info is daunting at best so the hotdog shaped microphone type response truly had me laughing out loud! It is medicinal to get the chuckles, the serious answers, the agonizing questions and then everyone relates. WOW!

Have a good day, all!

How did I miss this whole stimulating (for the saliva glands) thread??  I guess I was stuck in airports that day!!   :D

Now I am going to have to go dig out my MRI films and figure this one out.  If I remember, it just looked kind of roundish and FOREIGN in there.  The Dr.'s just told my family it was the size (& I guess) shape of a man's fist...don't want to eat that!!!
