You know ladies, the van does NOT have to be boring!  I have orange flames on my (otherwise boring) green van.  Makes it a cinch to find in the parking lot, plus the kids think I'm cool(!?)
My husband had a bumper sticker made that says "Tam's Dragon Wagon" - helps me find it from the rear!

Pooter - hope you log on soon!

Tamara

Tamara -

You ARE a cool Mom!  I'm sure my little ones would think I was too, if I had my van painted pink with Barbies on it!   :D  Maybe I'll do that to my Lambourghini.  I won't be able to afford the gas to put in it anyway - might as well make it look nice in my driveway...

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.

Lori -

it looks like we may not have to sweet talk Phyl after all.  Jim Scott is catching on to this ANA Moderator's Perks thing very nicely  ;)  Perhaps we should start hanging out with him :D

Tamara -

never thought about flames - you're a cooler mom than I am  :)

I really don't mind the van.  It's good to cart around my pre-teens - plenty of room for when I have to separate them and they can each take a friend or two.  It works very nicely for us at this point in our lives.  By the time it's paid off, my kids will both be starting to drive and I can downsize and get something that fits my personality much better.  By then Jim Scott will have had the Jaguar for a few years and he might be willing to let me have it cheap!

Pooter -

where are you  ???  It's been a few days and I know you need your rest, but we miss you  :(

Hope all is well and that you post soon,

Jan

Jim, Willie wants to know if he can drive your lamorghini?   ;D

Debbi - race-car drivers wife

Only if he washes it and puts gas in it..lots of gas...and don't change the settings on the radio!  ;)

I've been working on the moderator transportation budget. With Phyl getting the private jet, we are going to have to set a limit of one car per moderator. I'm thinking Jim will get the Lamborghini, so I will take the Jaguar. We can trade once in a while.

The only snag so far is that by my calculations, the ANA membership dues will be going up to $2,500 per year. Are you guys okay with that?   ;D

Wow.  $2,500 a year.... that's a bit out of my budget... Hey, Jan - can I borrow $2,499?

Hopefully, Pooter is enjoying his weekend and he's just too busy for us anymore...   :'(

i'm here. i've been enjoying the weekend with my family and church with them on Sunday. It was a bit of a first trip but it was good for me.  Four guys from the YMCA group came to see me which was good.  It was good to cut loose with them and plan a guys-only trip....shhh...;) I'm still a bit slower but gaining strength each day.  i only keep up with this thread but it keeps me busy. Come see me when you are in town Kaybo. :)

Talk to you all soon.
