Hearing aid and glasses
« on: September 09, 2008, 05:24:02 am »
Do hearing aids interfere with wearing glasses??  I know when I wear a headband, I have to re adjust my glasses. Or vise versa.  The ones I have seen seem bulky behind the ear...but then looking at Steves pics on here, they look tiny....I guess new technology new aids......I just may get a cheap one til treatment is complete.

I don't know about all hearing aids, but I wear a TransEar and glasses.  The TransEar wire that connects over the ear to the processor (the part behind the ear) is very flexible.  So it adjusts itself to the earpiece on my glasses and just sits wherever it lands.  I find it easier to put on my glasses, then the TransEar, but it's really not a big deal.
