LA DAVID is a real "STAR"
« on: September 12, 2008, 11:25:28 am »

I just received the latest edition of ANA Notes and what a story on our LA DAVID.  He really is a "STAR" and talk about handsome!! ;)  What an article David wrote, but than we always knew he was good with the golden pen.  David's acting career has been side tracked by AN, and I feel "Hollywood's" loss has been our gain.

Congratulation David and thank you for sharing your story!

Your biggest fan in Hamilton, Ont :-*

I just got mine too and want to add how super the article was.   Good picture of you and your beautiful daughter.
The depression article is also good and well worth reading.     That was not one of the sessions that I went to at the symposium.
This is a really good newsletter this time. The letters to the editor also written by Lainie and Francesco and well written also.

Thank you all.  I hadn't heard anything and I wasn't sure if it would be published.  I was sure that Lainie's letter was going to be printed (two LAers in this edition).  But thanks should go to Jan as well for bringing up my name to Judy.  And thanks for the kind words, Anne Marie.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

I always get my copy of Notes later than everyone else   ::)  What's that all about  ???

But, I was lucky enough to read David's article before it went into print - thanks, David  ;D - so I knew it was a winner.

I always knew that David was a "star" - and talented and handsome also - but this just confirms it  8)

Congratulations, David!  Way to go  ;)

Got my copy. Nice work!

In his new career as a screenwriter, I see David scripting an episode of Scrubs. Every time we get the AN patient's point of view, the halls of Sacred Heart Hospital are ship decks, and "Captain" Cox has a peg leg and keeps trying to make J.D. walk the plank. Then Dr. House (from House) makes a cameo appearance and tries to solve the mysterious symptom of "wonky head." ;D
