Well, the LA group had its first meetup at Jerry's this afternoon and based on the data I compiled at that gathering, I have reached the following scientific conclusion:  only fantastic people get Acoustic Neuromas!  David, Lainie and Nancy, It was a great pleasure meeting you.  I look forward to our next gathering, hopefully in January.

Oh, that sounds like so much more fun that sitting around watching snow turn to ice. It is cold up here in Portland!

Thanks Francesco.  It was great meeting you as well.  And I'd have to agree, we are a pretty good group of people.  My daughter even commented on that.  She enjoyed meeting everyone her dad talks about.

And Steve, it was even cold in LA today.  We actually had to break out sweaters.  And I do remember those days growing up in Pittsburgh watching snow turn to ice.  So much fun to drive on.

Better than pictures, Anne Marie -- a movie!  Maybe.  Lainie?  Need any help?  Check with Francesco.  I'm a techno-dud.

And Lainie, please keep us posted.

Lainie, as actors know, it must have been the lighting.  But as a patient of Theresa England's, I do have to admit, she is doing great work with both of us.  Make sure to tell her this week and I will do the same.

Francesco,

Yes, it was such a pleasure to meet you today. And David and Lainie, a great time, as always. As usual, we ran out of time before running out of conversation!

And I must say, after spending the morning at a wedding where I had to constantly try to position myself to hear all that was being said, it was SO GREAT to walk up to a table where the first thing people say is, "OK...where do you need to sit?" It's so nice to be with such an accommodating group!

Anne Marie, they did take a short video, but I've also got a good old-fashioned "still" photo taken by David's daughter. ;) (Sorry I didn't get a pic of Britannia!)

David and Lainie - you both look marverlous...I should forward this photo to Theresa Engalnd. :)

Hey  Rick, the empty plate was the communal fries. Are you by any chance like me a "Brit" or an Aussie ? Be careful what you say because you will be at a disadvantage when we come to visit you, at House. Who is your surgeon?  By the way I posted the Video of  myself, David, Nancy and Francesco on this page titled LA group [ I think ]
