Yay!  Hooray for no PICC line!! Kay and I can certainly relate to the joy of being picc-less.

BTW, a PICC line is a Peripherally Inserted Cardiac Catheter - it's a way for the patient to administer their own IV drip at home.  It is used for people on a long course of IV antibiotics or other meds.  Similar to a port that many cancer patients use for chemo.  Not a club you want to join!

Kit:

Congrats to you on losing the PICC!  These 'small' victories are important and keep us going so enjoy it - and look forward to more progress as your healing continues.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
