Sue, I had old parents and since I am now 56 was quite a long time ago when my mother was born.     Like 1912 for my mother and 1899 for my dad.      He was 53 when I was born.     Anyway, my mother went by Gert most of the time.                Her father was Dutch and my sister and I don't know about our grandma.          We do know there was a bit of Cherokee in her as her hair never turned all gray.             All of my aunts and uncles are gone as well as my parents socan't ask too much.     We do have a few cousins.             My sister has a different father than me and is much older than me also.                 The whole family history can be quite interesting.

Brian, the silence on the other end of the phone was probably from when your father passed out for a second!  That is funny though - even he'd have to admit that!

Angie, it makes you wonder why people would do that to their child - don't they know they'll be tormented forever with a name like Ima Piggie?  Ugh!

Lori, yeah I'm confident he passed out for a second.  He was noticeably relieved that I was joking with him.  Jenni is a teacher and has some CRAZY name stories..  One was a lady had twins and named them (get this) Orangejello and Lemonjello because while pregnant she liked to eat.. you guessed it, Orange jello and Lemon Jello.  I think the most classic was a kid she knew named ****head (pronounced "****h E ud").  Now, put a space after the T and before the H.  The kid was honestly named that!  What goes thru some people's head!  Ugh!

The three of you........hmmmmmmm. Well at least there would be no dirty diapers (at least we hope not!), no snotty noses (well if so.....at least you could wipe your own!) and if you were bad then I could tell you all to just go away (being you each have your own car!)

Angie -
It looks like you'd have your hand full with Brian and Lori -- Jan on the other hand seems like she 's being an angel!  Or is she just wating for her chance to get into mischief?  I think a baby might be a little bit easier for at least the first year or so.   ;D

I think Jan's fingers are probably frozen up there in the Windy City! It only looks like she's behaving!
