2 year follow-up (tumor free)
« on: February 10, 2009, 03:20:49 pm »
Just got back from my 2 year follow-up MRI in NYC, happy to say all is well.  My Dr.'s said that if year 3 is the same I will not have to see them until year 5.

It seems like yesterday when I was talking in days and months not years.

Thanks to all my AN friends  that I have made along the way, I look forward to seeing you all again.

God is good all the time.

Joe,

Excellent!!!  ;D ;D ;D

I can't wait to say the same.  We are both sooo lucky that we had such skilled surgeons.  I went to Dr. Roland's on Friday and he removed my stitches.  He's such a great compassionate doctor.

I'm feeling pretty good so far - no complaints here.  I would like to compare notes.  When did you drive for the first time?  When were your restrictions lifted etc.  We only live 10 minutes apart maybe sometime we could get together and share our experiences?

Like you I have nothing be nice things to say about those two Dr.'s...I'm going to miss not going in on year 4.  Call me anytime to talk...I usually get home around 5:45PM.

Joe-

I know it! I was talking with my mom yesterday and I said I wanted to go back to Dr. R's before my 3 month MRI just to check in.  He is so comforting.  He makes me feel at ease and always has an answer to my questions.  It probably sounds strange to others to hear that you'll miss him at the 4 year mark, but I totally get it.

I'll take you up on your offer and give you a buzz.
