satman update
« on: February 13, 2009, 07:36:22 am »
earlier in the week i had asked for your prayers for my mri results, well yesterday i saw my dr. and the meningioma i had been freaking out about has not grown and the place the old AN was is showing no re-growth.
the doc told me in regards to the meningioma to accept the fact that it's there and forget about it, he said chances are that i will never have to deal with it,WHEW !
so we will just monitor it and hope for the best.
thanks to each and everyone of you,the power of prayer is a stong one.
                                                  thanks again,
                                                       john...........

Terrific news! After everything you have been through with this AN, this is a welcome relief!

John:

In light of such wonderful made-my-day news, I offer you my warmest congratulations and mention that, for those of us who have faith, prayer is, indeed, powerful.  Now, you're living proof.  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Satman,

That is truly wonderful news and as Jim said an answer to prayers is always so heartfelt! I am so very happy for you! We have some things in common, as I also have a small Meningioma opposite side from my AN. I also was told by a doctor that I probably would never have to deal with it! Oh, that should be the case, right? Wishing you the very best of news throughout your journey!!!

Hi John,

What great news -- you've certainly been through enough.  I know you've been stressed out, but it seems the worst is over.
