multiple neurological problems
« on: February 18, 2006, 10:00:31 pm »
has anyone ever developed multiple neurological problems after having AN surgery?  Family member had AN surgery about 15 years ago, developed Eplilepsy 5 years after the surgery, diagnosed with Parkinson's about 3 years ago, also had another non-growing tumor on optic nerve and only 53 years old?  Can't beleve AN surgery had nothing to do with it.

I often wonder.  I am post-op 5 years and have some wierd muscle twitches at times on both sides of my body.  Never asked anyone because they are so inconsistent.  Patti

I'v heard of people who have MS (think there is another post about this) but not epliepsy and parkinson's along with AN, don't know may be just a "unique" case.
