Hey Capt. Deb!  How are you today?  I am sending some thoughts and prayers your way, and brought back a pocket full of tropical breezes from Tortola to soothe your tired and aching soul....!!! Poof - here they come!   ;) --
I am so sorry you are going thru this now, but i can sympathize - went to gyn office the other day on 'emergency' visit myself, and now probably back for some lady 'day surgery' at end of month - yuk.  But been there, done that, and not so bad overall.

Wake Forest - i am sure you will like it there.  My first born had to be hospitalized at 2 weeks old, and they took very good care of her.
(She is a feisty 24 year old now!)

I will be thinkin' of you matey - hang tough!
All my best to you.
Sincerely,
Sue

Catn Deb:

I hope that a hysterectomy isn't necessary and that the poking they need to do is over and done with soon so you can get on with things.

OK - i will try to post some pics of Tortola later today.
When we returned from vacation our home internet was down...
Then work...then MRI...then visit one daughter...then help other daughter move...then this week, other health issues for me, oh my!
(can i go BACK to Tortola!?)

I DO like pics myself, so have to go now and figure out the whole photobucket thing.

Hey Capt. Deb - so sorry about the headache - yucky yucky yucky!
I will be thinking of you on Tuesday.
When i was pregnant with #2, i was considered high risk, so the doc did Amnio test with a BIG needle where they draw out some fluid.
When my husband saw it he said, "Are you SURE you want to do this this test?"  Geez, Louise - of COURSE NOT!
I almost reached over to bop him on the head! - And to top it off, at that job, i didn't have any sick time, so i went back to WORK after that!
That's what you do when you are younger and foolish - now i know better, i think!!!!

So, no - big needles do not = fun.  Hope you 'sail' on thru and can get back to that windsurfing!  I love your animations!

Hi there Capt. Deb,  I want you to know,  along with everyone else,  you have been in my prayers for a long time,
it's another 'bump in the road' ( so to speak),
I believe you'll come through this, as all of us have come through one problem after another,
but we survive, & live to see another sunrise...
Lucky for you you just had a beautiful ride on the seas.
(with your painted toenails !).
I wish you healing & comfort,
Always good thoughts,    Nancy

Best of luck and lots of huggles to you, Capt Deb, as you sail the stormy seas of yet another "medical adventure" aboard the good ship, "Hey, I Wanna Get Off Now".   And LA David was in Transformers?  I just looked up the cast and crew and didn't see his name.  What part did he play?

It is my understanding that he played the President of the United States.  ;D

Capt. Deb,  While you are resting and gearing up for Tuesday, go to this thread:
http://anausa.org/forum/index.php?topic=8049.90      - here are some pics of my family and of course, BVI!

The water was rough at The Baths, so they wouldn't give us snorkel gear.  That's ok, i did snorkel at Norman Island.
I did not get to do everything on this vacation - just an excuse to return there again REAL SOON!

We met some wonderful folks from Minnesota, New York and Indiana.  The parents from Indiana were meeting their son after his 'study abroad' Spring Semester, in BVI!  (Gee tough life these kids have, LOL!)  They spoke to our captain on the catamaran, and we pulled up along side their son's schooner at The Caves, Norman Island and started waving madly.  The rest of the students on the ship thought we were crazy!  It was great!

Hope you are back sailin' real soon.
Enjoy the pics!
Sue

I could just live in that big cave pool just off the beach.  The best way to get through the Baths is with a mask and snorkel and sneakers.  I know that place like the back of my hand and where all the cool cave pools are so next time you will just have to take me with you!

Here's a photo of the tire swing at Stanley's! Bet my liver would quit quiverin' if I could have me a swing on it!!!

Glad you loved Tortola--it really is one of my favorite islands.
