Capt,
I know what you mean about the shark. The first time I went snorkling in the Ocean we went out on a boat from Key West. They threw us overboard by some remote Key. I was on the bottom looking down and enjoying the multicolored fish in the Elkhorm coral, thinking "I wonder if the really big things in the sea play with things my size like I'm playing with these small fish?" I needed to go up for air, and when I looked up I was surrounded by a school of barracuda, all eyes, teeth, and rapacious speed. I was thinking, now would have been a good time to use the buddy system, oops, and the boat was about 20 yards away. I was out of breath so I was trying to appear "calm and cool" while heading to the surface and swimming between them. I was sure that the baracuda could hear the hammering of my heart from the big surge of adrenaline. The baracuda weren't impressed, it was like passing a street wise gang who were trying to appear bored while watching my every move.
Regards,
Rob
