The cobwebs have been dusted, the rust removed and Captain Avatar, parrot, botox head marshalls the flea bitten scoundrels of the Goode Ship Princess Batty Wench (just in case anyone has forgotton her real name) to the main deck which was swabbed with rum after the Grogmeister was too pi..ed to realise the difference between rum and water. The first order was to stop licking the deck and listen 'ere.

The Goode Ship PBW has had a number of distress calls and we need to break away from the Windies and set sail to the fair shores of the United States of America. We need to make sure that Wench patti yodelayhoohoo is recovering properly and also the chronologers mother who's trip to the U.S turned into a bowell obstruction operation with a fight with the insurance company (yukko).

Git yer saggy rear ends upright, chest in (mm, not very politically correct) , heads up, and off to yer stations.

Now, ye motl;ey lot of flea infested varmints, remember no carbon emissions during this trip. The International organisation for climate change has a whole page in its report blaming the crew of the Goode Ship PBW is causing glaciers to shrink coz of all its "emmissions" and recommends baked beans off the lunch menu.

Now, row, row, row yer butts off. We are needed

Stay tuned - will the crew muster enough speed to get to the U.S in time/ will the now hard to find baked beans be the new underground currency for all Pirates?

I've restocked the Rum and other required libations.  After re-stowing the rum barrels on both sides of the ship, it's no longer llisting to port.
This week's drink will be Huricanes, in a tall huricane glass, in honor of the New Orleans supperbowl win.  Who Dat!  And we've replaced the bean soup with Seafood Gumbo and Oyster Poor Boys (sub type sandwiches).
I suggest that we imediately sail to New Orleans to help get Mardi Gras started.
Regards,
 Grogmeister

Off we go, into the wild blue yonder,
Trying to save people there,
Off we go, not to pillage and plunder,
But a Good Will Mission of Care!

Who would have thought our crew would step up,
Saving Mum's and cheering up Pat,
It's time to go!  It's time to leave!,
Hurry now, no time for chat.

Then Wench Sue had a thought,
A good one, she thought, maybe,
After Mum and PattiUT,
We should go help Haiti.

Bonjour el Pirates, (multi lingual)!!!

Our dear captain whatever her name is this week (avatar, parrot.......) sees the cursed cruise director hijacking the thingy dinghy and yells "defecter!!! return to this vessel yer scurvy girly or ye face the wrath of all the fire power of the Goode Ship PBW.

Girly, who is rather strong willed and amazed at the Captain's harsh words, decides to keep going on her mission of mercy.

The Captain, who is still reeling from the after effects of her botox jabs, orders all guns to be aimed at the thingy dinghy. The crew, who are all half p...ed from the hurricanes and newly restocked rum slowly turn the guns onto the thingy dinghy.

Stay tuned when we find out whether the men in white coats will take the Captain away, or whether the order to fire on the thingy dinghy? What will happen to the girly!!!

Stay tuned

Oh, well done Sue (like usual)

A swashbucklin' Jolly Roger Laborador Retriever water bowl adornment!!  Sadie Lady would love it!!  We hardly ever use our you-know-what anymore--don't want to pollute our dear doggie's hydration source.  I now make Dr Love pee outside--helps keep the deer out of the garden.

I spent a week in Haiti in the 70's while crewing on Swan 57 --we were en route from St Thomas to New York with the landlubber owner and a group of his landlubber friends.  Hit a storm in the Mona passage and they freaked and insisted on anchoring up in a small cove in the Dominican Republic without clearing customs.  The village Federales boarded us at gunpoint and we had to bribe them with most of our food, liquor, and cash not to take us to jail and sieze the boat.  We then sailed to Cap Haitien where we put the landlubber crew in a hotel for a few days just to get them out of my hair.  They had to wait for the bank to re-open so they could get some cash so we could re-provision for the rest of the trip. We took a side trip to the Citadel--a massive stone fortress built by the French in the 1700's--what a place.  The people in Haiti were so sweet and friendly even though the poverty and living conditions were pretty shocking.  No supermarket at all, only an open air market with vegetables, fruit, live chickens and goats.

A good place to donate is here:

Love the poem, Sue-wench!!
