Well, it's snowing--big pretty flakes gently falling, and Dr Love and Sadie went to Charlotte fer the night.  Who wants to come over and toast marshmallers on the poop deck?

Dr Love and me are a' tailgatin' on the poop deck this afternoon  at 4 turns o' the hourglass ter watch our beloved Appalachain State Mountaineers, the most fearsome bunch o' buccaneers ever ta plunder a football field, play against them wussies from the puny state o' Montana in the NCAA Division I semi-final. Should wallop 'em fair and square an' if not, yer dear Captain may have ta consider walking the plank!!  Tune yer video box ter ESPN at 4 ter view the melee!

And even before that I celebrated it ALL YEAR!!! That's alot of celebratin'!!  So that's where all them laugh lines came from.  Whaddaya think we oughtta do wiv our Dear Knitter?

All week, All month, or all year??

Will the ship's rum locker hold??

Will we wear out the dance floor?

Will the feather dusters become deplumed?

Can the PBW tolerate all that partyin'??

 Didn't hurt me none!!!!

AAAARRRRR!!!!!

all year sounds pretty good to me!!! (hic).

Actually, this "dormant" chronologer is partying across the ditch in lil ol New Zealand fer some well earned shore leave. The pace here is very slow which is what I need right now. Oh, my MRI result came back ok - following the zaparooney, the growth is "stable" so hoping for some shrinkage for the next one.

To all my PBW shipmates, I hope you all have a wonderful new year and tht 2010 is a healthy one.

Not that I have any authority here or anything, but I say we celebrate Steve's birthday all year.  Afterall, he's a moderator - and if we celebrate all the moderator's birthdays all year long we can have one hell of a party!  ;D

On another note, I actually saw TimTams in my local Target store - there's a first time for everything I guess.  Didn't buy any, but I certainly plan on it.

I'll bring some to the birthday party  ;)

Jan,

One of the rules of becoming an offical wench aboard the Goode Ship PBW is that you have some tim tams. Now, the best way to eat them is from the freezer - Sorat like Vodka in some ways.

Kiwiville was a great break. The slow pace helps to unstress. I'll write more about our adventure a little later coz gots to go to a silly old meeting now.

hey dear Capt'n  - the fireworks on the Sydney harbour bridge is amazing - you gots to see it live to get the full effects but with 1.5 million people squashed in the best spots, the tele is about the best option.

cheers
