After a long, long, long morning attempting to manage two very young, ornery, ankle-biting swashbucklers-to-be, I open me mail to find a package from our illustrious Captain Deb!  All I can say is thank you for giving this Wench the biggest laugh she's had in a week!

I know have my uniform all set for the side-trip to the hospital - head gear, neck wear, tie dye scrub pants, and pirate socks to go with me lover-ly hospital gown.  I'll have to have me hubby take a photo!  :-)

I too, was having a really baaaad day until I opened my mail and found my uniform. Captain Deb- you even got my size right! I donned my uniform, opened a cold corona and the day turned out to be okay. Thank you Captain Deb!

Me thanks you as well! I got me uniform and accessory today. Pleasantly surprised and all those usess. I'll add a thought when I'm riding on the back of me hubbbies harley it will help keep the bugs away!! Very cute. Can ketch the wet eye and dribble that will result as well.  Millions of uses!!

Hi Jane and Katie.  Thinking of our great time a few weeks ago already.  Best wishes Katie for a speedy recovery as you go to surgery soon. You'll be in my prayers as will Ellen and all our fellow An'ers.

I'm wearing my pirate sockies (booties every day on my walk.  Thanks to Cheryl I have enough to last a week before I wash 'em--okay, 4 days, but I don't change 'em everyday like my undies.  Oops.

AAAARGHGHGHGHGHGGH!  If my dizzies keeps gettin' better, I'm goin' on the cruise!  I want to meet ALL of you, and have a big ol group hug.

I'm in fine form today--exhausted from my reflexology--looks like Laz beat up my feet!  trampling over me to get some grog.

I be a'watchin' Miss Anne Curry on the Today Show on the ship's telly and she be all Wenched out!! white pirate blouse, big thick black belt and a full wenchy skirt!  Cept she need ta lose them silly red high heels and get her a proper pair o' swashbucklin' boots! And a PBW Uniform!
Folk usta snicker at me (they tried ta hide it but I know the WAS) behind my back when I'd show up down to the Walmart to do a bit o' plunderin' in me knickers, boots, corset and puffy arm shirt, not ter mention the cutlass (which that nice lil ole greeter man usta make me check at the door!)
but now I be right in style!

Miss Anne Curry, she be an Oregonian!  Her papa lives in Ashland, I believe, south of Medford. Her mother I think died.  He was in Japan during the war or right after the war and met her mother there.

I went to an acupuncturist for several months about a year and a half post op. Couldn't really tell if what he was doing was working. My last appointment-I came home with a bonafide Kip 10 (That's a headache scale and it's the worst) that lasted about 12 hours. I decided not to go back. Now, if someones gonna stick needles in me, I want there to be drugs in 'em!

Yikes, don't blame you.  Right now my body doesn't know if it's coming or going with the energy stuff.  Probably too soon to go off the drugs, rather like them....
