I did it again!
« on: May 03, 2009, 09:25:02 pm »
This past weekend I ran my second half-marathon in Indianapolis.  The weather was great for running and I felt great.  I even had a minor improvement of two minutes better than last year's time.  Never thought I would enjoy running so much.  Guess having an AN is a good motivator.

Congratulations Jean!  I have bad knees, so running is out of the question for me -- they won't take the pounding.  Walking is more my game.

Congratulations, Jean  ;D

What can I say?  You're truly an inspiration - even if you didn't have an AN - but even more so because you did.

Great work; you must be so proud  ;D

Jean~
way to GO!!  I was thinking about you the other day when I finally was able to let go & run on the treadmill (remember I said I couldn't do that? I finally did!) - however, my running career was short lived as I hurt my knee.  No worries - it was a bigger deal that I proved to myself that I could do it!  I remember when we were talking LAST winter and you were training for your first run...now you have 2 behind you.  Truly an awesome feat!!
