Happy Birthday to you!!!!

It was definitely different having a birthday right post-brain-surgery. Less worrying about numbers, more "happy to be alive to see another one!"  :D

I agree! (Another unforeseen perk of brain surgery! ;) :D)

Nancy

(And Cindy - Happy one-year anniversary tomorrow! ;D)

Hi, Lilan ~

A combined Happy Birthday/5-month surgery anniversary!  So glad to learn that your recovery is continuing apace.  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

I had my 6-month MRI today!

All went well. It was loud, but only half a loud as last year.  ;)  LOL.

I drove the MRI tech crazy because I was curious, not about the results, but about how my skull looks. She was the rule-following type and refused to tell me anything no matter how I asked. (Which I thought was unreasonable, since I wasn't seeking a hint on the results -- more just morbid curiosity about my skull!) (Which I already know has a hole in it!) So each time she'd fight me off with a boilerplate answer, I'd say one more time, "But you can see I had a hole in my skull, right?"

No comment.  ;D  She'd be great in the CIA.
