Getting Ahead of Myself
« on: January 12, 2013, 12:41:54 pm »
To all of my Well meaning AN friends,

I was feeling so elated yesterday with no facial tremors in days,
It truly felt good and right that I was passing the 7 month mark I felt
So incredibly happy...

However, - felt a little twinge or remnant? Of a facial twinge this morning!

Has this ever happened to anyone else here?

I feel that I let everybody down, that I should have waited to get some
Concrete results back from a follow up CAT  scan with contrast.

I apologize!

Mike ~

Hardly any need to apologize for wanting to share good news with fellow AN patients.  That your celebration was a bit premature is not unusual as these twitches can manifest themselves for some time and we are not always as patient as we need to be as full recovery can take years, not months.

I wish you continued healing and more reasons to post good news in the months to come.  :)

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

absolutely no need to apologize.  healing is an ongoing process for the rest of your life.  you will notice little changes always and want to share them, continue to get excited about the change!  ever little bit is a step forward.

.Dear Jim and C Mq,

I really feel like "I jumped the shark" I posted on my good feeling without waiting a while for it to be lasting and posting on that. I may have done a disservice to those people hoping that this AN adventure is hopeful and engaging. For that I apologize!

To all of you who want to feel better about the decisions that you have to make about your treatment, please know that I have my ups and my downs.  6eeling the way I did when I posted that I had no symptoms was misleading .

I currently am waiting to go for a CT scan and to be seen for my follow up with Dr. Sisti.

Thanks Jack!

I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to have someone (all of you) who knows what it's like to go through something like this! It makes not knowing what comes next almost tolerable!

Thank you!
