You are correct Cheryl! :)

Hey MeiMei,
Laura is the local Metro Boston ANA Support Group leader. Her user name on the forums is MZB475.  You can send her a PM/Email here and you all can share personal contact info in emails to catch up for your time here in town.  Hoping next Sunday works out.  Send me PM/email with details for you in this area (you know which area I am in) and Laura, as you know, isn't far from me at all, so we can try to coordinate.  Not sure of Laura's schedule so can can respond on that! Would LOVE to see you again! Been too long! ;)

;D  Yes, looking forward to getting together with you and Lauren somewhere on the road back from York Beach on Friday.   I have the feeling that Kathy won't want to stay overnight in Maine and will just beeline it back to Mass.  Can you give us a name of a restaurant to meet at off of 95 or 128?

I saw a clip on NBC Nightly News tonight about a doctor from Minn that is helping Palestinians to hear again.   I wish that I could work with him.   I am trying on doing some volunteer work with the hearing impaired in my retirement.  I'm starting back at the gym next week.

Hi all,

I am just now home from Cincinnati; I stayed to visit my sister and other friends. Symposium and meeting folks from the forum was so great! Thanks for the pictures.

Met with Dr. Theo the following week and he advises me to hold steady till next spring or summer. Suits me just fine!

Wish I could meet up with you all but, as Phyllis kept reminding me, I am from the "wrong coast"!!! Hope you have a great time. If ever in Seattle look me up. LA is just down the pike, so will see you all there. Already looking forward to that!

Cheers,
Barb

Great Pics, Phyl
Hoping to take some more today at lunch with you at Bertucci's.   I'll send them and the Flip pics to Steve of course because he is less Wonky head than me.   Would you believe I used to work at MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and was hired to put the department on a data base which they didn't have at the time.   Later I worked at the NIH Computer Center.   Now I am a wonky head.
Thanks Steve for the technical support.
Hugs all,

Phyl ~

Great photos!  On behalf of all of us who couldn't be there: thanks!
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Great pics.  Someone was going around taking official pics for the website gallery.  He took one of Lauren and her husband with me.  So I'm betting they took a whole bunch more.
