I wish I could help you, because my sinuses kill me all winter long.  I been treated with prednisone two Febs in a row.  The miracle drug works, but there are side effects.  Moodiness, manic behavior and weight gain.

I'm interested to see what other treatments are out there.

I have been having sinus problems too and have found that drinking a lot of water, taking musinex, vitamin c and cod liver oil is helping.  A lot of people are saying that this is the allergy season.  Do not know if it is worse because we have ANs.  Good luck.

I never had sinus issues until after my AN surgery.  I've had docs tell me it could be from the AN surgery & Gamma Kinife, and docs that tell me it isn't.  Regardless, I was on steroids, antibiotics and all sorts of meds for 6 months and gave up and had sinus surgery in May.  I think I'm probably the exception to the norm.  Best to just get lots of rest and take a daily vitamin.  I also take vitamin C everyday.  Hope you're feeling better soon!

I've had sinus issues for as long as I can remember. Head gets a bit worse now when I have problems. I take my allergy med (allegra) along with my daily handfull of vitamins and that seems to help a lot. (Actually, I think it's the allegra that helps with the sinuses, but I think the vitamins have helped in general overall). :)

Yes.  I believe it is sold as 'Telfast' in the U.K.  and is over £25. for 80 60 mg tablets.  I would inquire at a local pharmacy to find out more.

I get the generic form of Allegra (fexofenadine) which is pretty cheap.
