1st yearly MRI on 8/14
« on: August 12, 2009, 07:46:59 pm »
Well after 3 6month mri`s my first yearly is scheduled on Friday.  Everthing has been stable so far at approx. .12X.07 W+W. I feel good with no special symptoms other than whats been going on for many years. This time I have realy incorporated all I could personally learn in helping my situation which was also applied to my wife who has a mass in her stomach. Her results were very favorable with a reduction in size for the first time and alot of optomism. I`m nervous to get this done and get the results. Who knows for sure but if all comes out well maybe its worth a try for whats been done which I will mention here after I see my Dr. next week. Have fun in Chicago! wish I could be there.Best wishes, Thanks, Mickey

Mickey ~

We're all rooting for a 'boring' (no change) MRI for you!  Let us know the results.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Mickey,

Good luck tomorrow.  Here's hoping things have stayed the same -- no new news is good news!  Regards to your wife.
