Unremarkable and unchanged
« on: August 28, 2009, 04:54:23 pm »
Had my 3 month follow-up MRI.  Have not talked to the doctor, but read the report from the lab.  Mostly I did not understand it, but they did say that the lesions were unremarkable and unchanged (that I can understand).

This makes me very happy since I have had terrible congestion in my good ear and was worried, as you can imagine.  So it must be sinus congestion.

So relieved.  I was imagining the worst.

Also, I am feeling better--my balance, taste in my mouth, pressure around my ear.

Good for you Kathy!  Why is it that we always think the worst and spend so much energy worrying unnecessarily????  I do the very same thing.   I'm very glad that you are doing so well and I hope that continues for you from now on.

Thanks so much.  You would understand, having been through it.  I tell my friends and they do not see it.  They say, "Will it disappear?"

One's fears can really make one sick, no?

Best,

Kathy ~

Just popping into the thread to offer you my congratulations on an 'unremarkable/unchanged' MRI report.  I'm so pleased to learn about your - quite justified - relief with this report.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
