Thanks everyone!  Not to worry, my birthday "season" is still in full swing!

Had a pretty uneventful day (not necessarily a bad thing).  James came home from work early (it was still light outside!), played with the kids, had pizza from my favorite pizza place and cake and then ended the night watching Survivor.  Not bad.  The only thing that would have made it better was a big birthday potato peel pie!   :D

Haven't had a chance to do anything just for ME yet, as James is on the ship until the end of the week, but I can guarantee I'll not only want to do something for me when he gets home, I'll need to!   :o

Thanks again!  You guys are the best birthday present I could ask for!

Lori ~

Please accept yet another belated Happy Birthday wish.  :-[

I'm pleased to learn that you had a pleasant birthday and that you intend to enjoy yourself even more when your husband can be with you.   You deserve it.

Thanks for your kind words and for your tremendous contributions to the forums.

I am really going to have to try to make one of those pies now. It's cold enough now. My husband and kids are going to think I have gone off the deep end, though.

Sara,

I'm sure your husband and kids already picked up on that!   :D  Just kidding!  But I want reports on the pie tasting.

Maureen, I love it here in Virginia Beach but can't wait to get to a real house and out of Navy housing.  I don't love it!  Heck, I don't even like it.  Now the fun of trying to readjust to sea-duty after 3 years of shore.  Good think there's a beach and good seafood around or I might just lose what's left of my sanity!

Hmmm.  Sounds like I should deliver your next birthday card in person  ;D

Better get that real house soon - I'll need to bring my kids and Kaybo, David, and the 3 curly girlies!
