Post-op photos of Bren (Sobes)

Hi All, not sure if it's ok to put photos here or if there's a special place?! So here they are  :D'


Night before surgery at hotel in Madison having a fun pajama party (me, mom, cousin Jolene, and auntie Viv)...also there but not in the picture (hubby Bret, sister Lana, and niece Cami)


ICU- day of surgery or next day ???


3-4 days post-op



Leaving the hospital in Madison after 6 days with a quick stop at the gift shop...yaaaaay  ;D (must have been on some fun meds that day...hee,hee)


Stitch removal- 12 days post-op


Stitch removal- 12 days post-op


Healing GREAT on Sunday- 19 days post-op


Having fun watching the hair grow back...but sad to see my half-mullet go  ;)

Looking good, Bren!

Looks like your incision is healing well.  Don't worry, if you really like that coif, I'm sure you can find someone to do it again!   :D

I love the pajama party picture!  So cute!  And what a nice idea.

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.

Thanks for posting the photos....you're looking good.  Very encouraging and invaluable 'information' for newbies.  May your healing continue apace!

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

You look like you are healing very nicely, and you sound terrific!  Happy to see such good results.  It is encouraging to others to see how things are handled in a positive way!

What type of surgery was it?  Mine was translab and the incision went behind the ear.

The incision is healing beautifully and your hair has grown so fast before long you will not be able to see it at all amazing.

I like the concept of the half mullet. Perhaps there is a new fad here?

Hey Bren, looking good....yeah, do you remember Cyndi Lauper when she had that sort of half mullet thing going on? I think you should bring back that look and start a new trend, then all of us AN'ers can blend in! :) lol.  Seriously, you do look good.  Thanks for posting the pics...the newbies will appreciate them as much as I did when I was at that stage! :)

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways
