This Week 1/31 “2010” in the AN World

Still no news on how DJ’s (Coach DJ), and Joanne’s (Joanne7151) translab surgeries went.

Last week USA (usa2010) became our newest Postie, after having retrosigmoid surgery, and Sue’s (vogstar5) BAHA surgery brought her into the BAHA Club.  Both procedures appear to have been a success.  Congratulations to you both.

According to the AN Calendar Monday Lori (lori67) will celebrate 2 years since her translab surgery, however her Signature reads 2/20/07.  Whichever the case may be, the Month is correct.  Lori you are truly an irreplaceable Hero Member on this forum, your support has meant so much to so many of us, Thank You, and Happy Anniversary.

Also on Monday, though it is not on the AN Calendar, the husband of 20acrewoods will be having surgery to remove a 2.7cm AN.  We don’t know which approach is being done, but will keep you both in our prayers that the surgery is successful, that his recovery is without complication, and he is able to continue his profession as a carpenter.

Tuesday Michelle (Michelle K) is having translab surgery.  Michelle you will be in our thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery, followed by an uncomplicated and swift recovery.

Wednesday is Jo’s (tenai98) BAHA Gotcha Day.  We wish you the best Jo that the BAHA is everything you hoped it would be.

Our hopes for brighter days ahead continue for those on the road to recovery.

Thanks for the update, Rich ~

Thoughts and prayers for Michelle on Tuesday.  The same for 20acrewoods husband as he undergoes his surgery.  I'm confident that Jo will be more than happy with her shiny new BAHA as she takes it out for a 'test drive' on Wednesday.   Happy 'anniversary' ( be it the second or third) to our own Lori, a valued forum contributor of the first rank.  Congratulations to USA on a successful surgery and to Sue for coming through her BAHA surgery like a champ.  :)

Wishes and prayers for continued healing and better days for all recovering AN patients. 

Please give Scarlett our best regards - from Jim and Tina.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

One more surgery to add to the list.  Brenda (teffaz) is having a procedure on Friday 2/5/10 to take care of the tissue-breakdown that is exposing her titanium plate.  Good luck, Brenda, hope everything goes well.

Good luck also to Michelle K & 20acreswood's husband.  I wish you both a swift, uneventful recovery.

Jo - may you have a BAHA Gotcha Day as stellar as mine  ;D

Lori -  happy ANniversary!  Don't know if it's 2/20 or 2/2 but if it was in 2007 it will be your 3rd ANniversary.  Thanks for all your contributions to the Forum - and for all your humor.  I've enjoyed being your partner in crime and look forward to many more years.  Without you the JKL trio just wouldn't be the same  ;D

It'll be my 3rd Anniversary on the 20th.    ;D   I haven't gone to the calendar in a long time, so I guess I should go check that out and fix it, huh?  Oh well, I've never been good at math and I did have brain surgery, you know!   :D

3rd.  Wow.  That went fast.

Good luck to all having procedures this week.  May they be quick, painless and fast-healing.

Jo - is Gotcha Day this week?  That seemed to come up fast too.  Well, to me it did - probably not to you.

For all those that are recuperating or preparing for procedures this week..... major wellness wishes and speedy recovery to you all!

BAHA Gotcha Day is always thrilling and sending wishes for a good one.

As for my halo-dropping friend......  well, since it's your 2 yrs ANniversary, me may cut you some slack this week..... but, I'll think about it!  8)  (Lori, CONGRATS to you!)
