MRI tomorrow - 1 year check-up
« on: April 20, 2006, 12:21:20 pm »
Well I go for my one year anniversary MRI tomorrow morning.  This will be my first MRI post surgery.  I meet with my doc two weeks after that (May 5th).  I can't believe its almost been one year since my surgery.  I remember last year I said to myself "I can't wait for next year when I can say, damn you remember all that crap I went through last year!"  Here I am, just about one year later and I'm doing great!  I think I will finally have closure to this whole ordeal when I see that MRI film with no sign of that bastard tumor.  :D

Feeling real good!  Besides the SSD the only other thing I deal with is the ringing/white noise in the ear.  I have pretty much felt the same since the six month mark.

But you gotto have the wet t-shirt on girly or the wand don't work. I also think you need new chant words from the parrot.

Great to have some positives. Imurray and Denise - you two have certainly drawn the rotten straws and I really hope that you have some good news to share sooner than later - and remember, you can always vent here, as often as you like.

Thanks everyone!  I just got home, the MRI went fine.  Funny thing was, it was the same MRI tech guy as last time and he even remembered me and my nasty tumor.  I meet with the doc in two weeks, fingers crossed for a good report!

Stein,

Hope your MRI comes back with no signs of the tumor.  Glad to hear you are doing well.  Good luck at your dr. visit.

Best Wishes, Suzanne

Best wishes Stein--I'll keep my fingers crossed that you are clear!  How can you wait TWO WEEKS before you get the results?  They should be able to read your MRI within 48 hours and let you know.  I once had to wait a week until my doctor got back from a trip and it nearly drove me batty.  (of course, it's a short drive for me. . .)
good luck,
ck
