Planning appointment!
« on: November 04, 2010, 08:00:45 pm »
Going to Mass Gen tomorrow for my planning appt.  Halo, CT Scan and beads/markers.  Should be a great time.  ha

Appts are all day, so it's going to be a long 4 hour ride down, long day, and then a long ride back.  Not looking forward to it at all.  But at least we are getting underway!

I'll update more after tomorrow!  Thanks all, for all of your support.  It has really been invaluable.

Good luck.  We'll be thinking about you today.  It is a long day.  Make sure to bring something to read.  It can be hours between appointments.  Dr. Chapman will show you what the tiny beads look like before he implants them.  You should soon have you date when treatment will start.

Trust me, a year later I have no regret.  Going to MGH for these treatments was the best thing I've even done for myself.

What a day!  Halo is made, Ct Scan is done, and skull markers are in place.  Dr Chapman was super nice.  It was all just very tiring, but I'm ready to go.  I start on the 17th.  Please pray that the next 6 weeks go by quickly!  I have to go for 3 days AFTER Christmas.  BLAH!

Thank you guys, for all your support!   :)

You're on almost the same schedule I was last year.  Looking forward to reading about your first day.
