Anne Marie,
Does NOT seem fair that you have to deal with so much grief at the same time. Praying for peace and serenity, courage and strength to you and your family through this time.

So sorry to hear this sad news, Anne Marie.  I am praying for peace for your brother and your family.  It is a wonderful thing, this AN family we have formed through a common personal difficulty.  It extends not just through our own personal health difficulties, but gives us support in all aspects of our lives.  We all love you soooo much.

Blessings to you, Danny, and your family,

Anne Marie,
I just saw this post.  I am so sorry for what you are going through.  You have had an awful lot to endure in a short period of time.  I am sending love and prayers, and hope that all the good memories can provide you with some comfort.

Anne Marie,

I am so sorry to hear about your brother's illness. I know this must be very difficult for all of you. I lost my brother 6 years ago, and then my mom three years later. It is never easy, but time does make it hurt less. Your brother will always be a part of your life, your memories and will always live on in your heart. Try to take solace in that he will no longer be in pain and that he has you and all of his family there with him, loving him. You are all in my prayers,
Lauren

Anne Marie,

I didn't have time to say everything I was thinking the other day when I first read your post. I understand how overwhelming it is to experience multiple losses having lost my father-in-law, brother-in-law and father within a year's time. Your brother's situation seems very similar to my father's. I wanted to let you know that once my father made his decision to stop treatment, he was able to stop struggling so hard and it was easier on both him and the rest of us. I'm afraid I am not articulating this very well, but Dad's passing was gentle and painless at the end, I think largely in part because he finally accepted it and made the decision himself.

I will keep you and Danny in my prayers. God bless.
