Great Accessory

Thanks to my friend, Jan, she showed me her audio adaptor when we met in Chicago.  I plugged it into my BAHA and into her iPod.  Wow!  The sound was actually stereo and IN MY HEAD!!!!  I had to have one.  I ordered one from Cochlear and I am so impressed.  It is far better than any head set I have ever had and much more convenient.  The sound is incredible and I highly recommend it!  I don't know if there is something comparable for Oticon, but it is worth checking it out.  I highly recommend this to any of you BAHA wearers that use your iPods, iPones or any other MP3 device.

There is indeed one for Oticon. I need to have by Ponto reprogrammed because it is not loud enough on the audio adapter program.

glad to hear Oticon has an audio adapter.  I love mine - especially the feeling that I have a concert in my head

The 3rd program on my BP100 is for music - factory setting - and it's worked well for me.

I think it's so cool to hear my iPod with nothing in my ear; my adapter connects at one end to my BP100 and to the other to my iPod.  Is that how the Oticon adapter works?

Pretty much, Jan. It has a surge suppressor with it that is kind of bulky, but it is probably good to use.

The Cochlear adapter has a bulky part too.  Not sure if it's a surge protector or what; probably something similar.
