Baby announcement at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville
« on: December 17, 2011, 07:31:34 pm »
Hi ALL!
My baby Ani had her third child a baby boy at 5:12 this morning at 8 lbs 4 oz.   He looks just like his big brother Raffi.   I didn't get there in time because her labor only started at 2:30.    Things progressed rapidly and voila.  Raffi (3 yrs) and Talin (23 months) were standing next to her singing because they thought mom was sad.   She's coming home tomorrow and her husband and I are here trying to keep the overtired toddlers in bed.

Being a grandma is great!   When asked what he was thankful for at Thanksgiving, he said:  I'm thankful for my Metz Mayrig's house!  Metz Mayrig is Armenian for grandma.

Good night everybody!

Mei Mei ~

Congratulations on the birth of your new grandchild!   ;D

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Thanks, Jim.   It was a long day at the hospital watching the two older siblings.    Toddlers are a handful!

Love being a grandma.
