Hi Bonnie
I am in Virginia, so my GK was done at UVA.  I had the procedure on Dec. 1st 2011.  Hoping for success, I am 3 months now till my next MRI.  Good luck!

Hi, Bonnie - and welcome - from another 'nutmegger' ~

I didn't have GK but debulking surgery (performed by Dr. Isaac Goodrich ) at The Hospital of Saint Raphael (on Chapel Street) in New Haven, CT.  That was followed (as a plan) 3 months later with 26 FSR (outpatient) treatments performed at the same hospital in their cancer treatment center.  Of course, Yale Medical Center is an excellent facility but my doctor preferred The Hospital of Saint Raphael and my care there (in 2006) was excellent.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
