Tingling in extremities?
« on: March 31, 2012, 06:57:08 am »
Has anyone encountered a "tingling" sensation in their extremities associated with their AN?  I have this feeling off and on and is clearly worse when I lay down...likely due to brain stem compression.  Frightening feeling right now.  Thanks.

Hello Marc,

I have had a numbness that I've noticed w/ my left hand, left arm and my left leg.  Mostly notice it on the outside of each.  I did mention it to my neurologist and he did a nerve test.  He said the test came back showing everything was fine however he feels the central nerve was most likely damaged and that is hard to see results of that on a nerve test.  Have you told your neurologist about the tingling you have?

Much blessings,
