  • It's NOT a too-mah! (Anymore!)
As I was going through all the new posts, I just happened to notice that Jan has punched the 10k barrier, over 10,000 posts!! That is just incredible!!  I just wanted to thank you, Jan...for all the comfort, caring, and very informative posts that you have contributed over the years.  An inspiration to us all! THANK  YOU! :)

Jay ~

I usually don't pay much attention to post counts but I realize they indicate a level of dedication to the ANA website discussion forums and, by association, AN patients.  Jan has become our 'go-to' person on BAHA issues and is well informed on many other AN-related issues, too.  Definitely a great resource.  That noted, I want to concur with your comments and thank Jan for her valuable service to these forums.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

What can I say?  Didn't intentionally shoot for this milestone, but it's nice to be recognized.

I don't show up on the Forum as much as I used to, but once you're addicted it's hard to stay away  ;D

Tomorrow I go for my 5th annual post op MRI and I'm hoping to nail it - as in "clean", no sign of regrowth.

If that's the result, my neurotologist says I won't have to have another MRI for 5 years.  If that one - which will be the 10th post op MRI - is clear, he tells me I'm done with MRIs (at least for AN purposes).

While the tube of gloom doesn't bother me like it used to - these days I kind of like it - it would be nice to be "done".

Keeping my fingers crossed,

Jan

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Thank you, Saralynn  ;D

I've always had a hard time coming up with a caption because - as Kaybo pointed out before - it's just too darn short to write much!

This is what I told my doc this morning when he called about my MRI.  I said, "I guess I'm a success story for you now, right?" and he confirmed that.

I don't know if I'm happier being a success story for myself (selfish, I know) or for him (he's an amazing doc).

Good news all around!
I'm glad, Jan, for your posts and how much you help people around here, esp with BAHA's.
