I take it that the 7/12 was a success!  Thanks for posting.

Hi Jan yes it's a Ponto Pro someone asked me to put a photo on here and here in England we have a different format so Suu put them on for me, I've now remembered it was someone on a different site that asked me.  I wished Suu could have removed all my wrinkles lol.

Hi Brewers7 yes it was successful all tumour gone but as you can see I have a problem with my eye, I couldn't blink so had to have a tarsorrhaphy for a year and had it opened about four weeks ago, I can now blink but my eye has dropped so I have to have that stitched back and a brow lift.

Wrinkles - and gray hair - are usually well earned.  Trust me, I speak from experience  ;)

PamJ, A brow lift is a breeze, especially considering all that you have been through.  Very minor swelling for a week or so.

Hi Brewers7 think I'm just feeling sorry for myself because my eyeball has dropped so much that I've got vertical double vision so still not able to drive which means I can't go out shopping on my own my husband has to drive me everywhere so I can't spend his money without him knowing ha ha.  I shouldn't moan because I've been so lucky I just get a bit frustrated now and then,

So sorry that you are still struggling with double vision. I also had that for awhile. I did not drive for over a year. It finally cleared up although I have very little vision in my left eye.  Do they think that work on your eyelid and brow will help?

The surgeon who reversed my tarsorrhaphy has recommended me to another surgeon who specialises in  eyebrow and lid surgery and also specialises in sewing the eye back up in place but the earliest appointment I can get is 10th January but I see the surgeon who removed my tumour in 2 weeks time so perhaps he can bring it forward for me.  They've tried prisms but didn't work.

I misread Su's post previously. I note that she had the 7/12 procedure. Looks like you have had different issues.  You are getting so close to having everything in "manageable" shape!  I am so glad that you were able to get the tarsorraphy reversal. Sometimes I feel like humpty dumpy. :)

Sometimes I feel like humpty dumpy. :)

This part was soooooooooooooo funny!

Pam - what wrinkles? I have a similar problem to face if I don't start getting a result with the 12/7 graft. Still no facial movement at all so the eye specialist is sharpening his scalpel ready to reverse the tars. and do a brow lift.
I have news for him - no more surgeries.  I'm over it LOL

Glad you're all here and we can share whatever we like with each other and not get told to rest, relax. or harden up.  ;D

Warmest wishes,
Suu xxoo

Hi Suu when I had my tars reversed the surgeon said to me the worst part of the op is the injection and warned me it would feel like a bee sting, when he did the injection I said 'was that the biggest bee you could find' his reply was "I forgot to tell you it was the bee from the Amazon" but all joking apart I am going to go for the eye being sewn back and and eyelid lift I am fed up with people talking to my eye lol and my double vision is terrible.
